Jimmy Dale Green, 69, passed away Thursday July 12, 2018 at his home in Booneville.
He was born June 12, 1949 to John William and Helen Marie (Key) Green.
He was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church.
Jimmy married Kathy Diane Green on May 23, 1969, they had one son Bradley J. Green, born on July 9, 1980.
Jimmy attended Jumpertown School, Jumpertown, Prentiss Co., MS, where he graduated in May of 1968.
He was a plumber and electrician all his life until he retired on June 12, 2009.
Jimmy served in the Mississippi National Guard from August 1969 until he retired in November 1993. He retired as Master Sgt. First Class (E7).
A Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018 at McMillan Funeral Home, Booneville, MS, with Bro. Dan Estes and Bro. Trey Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at McMillan Funeral Home, Booneville, Prentiss Co., MS.
Jimmy is survived by his mother, Helen Green; his son, Brad Green (Tina Maness); nephew, Hunter Henley; sister, Jo Ann Cox (Bobby); two grandchildren, Travis Green and Savanna Trimble; mother-in-law, Joy Osborn; sister-in-law, Renae Henley and brother-in-law, Darrell Osborn all of Booneville, MS.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Kathy Diane (Osborn) Green; father, John William Green and father-in-law, Bob Osborn.
Pallbearers will be Charles Cartwright, Greg Hardin, Tracy Cox, Darrell Osborn, Mike Mooney, Timmy Baker, Joey Pittman and Mark Lambert.
