Charles D. Beck, Jr., 57, of Newport, died Thursday, May 1, 2003, as a result of a motorcycle accident.

He was the son of the late Charles D. Beck, Sr. and Marjorie Beck.

He was an avid outdoorsman and motorcyclist. He was a member of the Carpenter's Union Local #287.

Surviving are his long-time companion, Cathy Goshorn; his daughters, Lacy Ann Beck of Newport and Angela S. Beck of Shermans Dale; his loving sister, Ruth E. Beck of Harrisburg; his only nephew, Jeremy B. Beck of Harrisburg; and aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Denise C. Beck Magnelli and his brother, Harold Conley.

Contributions may be sent to a Trust Fund for baby daughter, Lacy Ann Beck, 150 National Bank of Mifflintown, New Bloomfield, PA 17068.
