Funeral services for Ralph D. Stelter, 58, Plainville, were at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 29, at the First Lutheran church in Plainville. Graveside services and burial were at 1:00 p.m .at the Mount Hope cemetery, Ellis. Mr Stelter died Sept. 27, at St. Anthony's hospital, Hays. He was born November 14, 1923, at Wheaton, the son of August and Marie Teske Stelter. He was an oil field foreman for Phillips 66 and a World War II veteran. He married Lenora Bosse on July 13, 1952. The lived in Great Bend and Ellis before moving to Plainville in 1978. He was a member of the First Lutheran church, Plainville. Survivors include his wife, of the home; three daughters, Mrs Pamela Luna, Plainville, Mrs Carolyn Hernandez, Ellis, and Mrs Kimberly Weber, Hoxie; his mother, Mrs Marie Stelter, Onaga; four sisters, Mrs Adele Bolejack, Greenleaf, Mrs Herta Bauer, Topeka, Mrs Mabel Becker, Emporia, and Mrs Selma Falk, Wamego; and six grandchildren.
