Jack, 63, passed away comfortably, at home, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, June 30th. Jack was born on June 1, 1955, to the late Jack & Margaret Abascal.

Jack is survived by the mother of his children, Torrie Bartley. His three daughters Courtney (Joey) Bryans, Ashley Bartley and Brittney (Ramon) Negron all of Meriden. His five grandchildren Aaliyah, Dyllan & Shayne Bryans and Mia & Jazmine Negron.
Jack also leaves behind to cherish his memory his four siblings. Margie (Paul) Frick of Kensington, CT. Linda Abascal of Jupiter, FL. Louis Abascal of Florida and Lisa Abascal and close family friend Kim Colapietro of New Britain, CT. In addition to several nieces and nephews and many cousins he adored. Jack will also be deeply missed by his softball girls, and many friends.
Jack took pride in building everything and anything. He was a "Jack of all trades" but his true passion was softball.

Family & friends are invited to a celebration of Jack's life, on Saturday, July 14, from 4-7 p.m., at Venskunas Funeral Home, 670 Stanley Street, New Britain. Burial will be private.
