Philip G. Divelbess, 73, died July 28, 2015. Philip was born Aug. 17, 1941 in Minneapolis, KS. the son of Eugene and Evelyn (Johnston) Divelbess. He was a Navy veteran and a life member of the VFW and the American Legion. Philip was a Saline County Rural Route Operator.

He was preceded in death by his brothers; Bill, Jim, and an infant brother, David; and his sisters; Beth Pike and Nancy Wyble.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Anderson) Divelbess; his two sons, Philip, Jr. (Lynda), Grand Junction, CO, and Michael (Jonnie), Marquette; his sister, Vesta Berry, Salina; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2015 at the Ryan Mortuary, Salina.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. where family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to the Salina VFW or Tammy Walker Cancer Center.
