Miss Annie Talley Allen was born on October 14, 1872 in Rutherford County, Tennessee, the daughter of William Newton Allen and Nancy Isabella (Dillon) Allen William Newton Allen (1846-1893) and Nancy Isabella "Isabelle" (Dillon) Allen (1848-1895).
Living on East Main Street in Murfreesboro, she was 72 years old, single and had fractured here right femur when she died on December 15, 1944 of a "fat embolus" at Nashville General Hospital where she had been for three days. Burial was the next day in Evergreen Cemetery, Murfreesboro.
