He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, the American Legion Post 88 Honor Guard, Knights of Columbus (4th degree), Veterans of Foreign Wars in Corbin, the Moose and Eagles lodges and American Veterans in Frankfort.
He was born Nov. 16, 1941, in Frankfort to Robert Carl and Fairy Maddux Anderson.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Payton Anderson; a daughter, Tammy (Troy) Peterson of Frankfort; and three grandchildren, Chip and Stephani Anderson of Lafayette and Austin Judge of Frankfort.
A son, Anthony, preceded him in death in 1991.
