Heishman will be held at a later date.Per Duane;s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.Duane was born on December 5, 1959 in Marshalltown, Iowa to Charles Heishman and Ruth Osborn-Heishman and departed this life on Wednesday July 18, 2018 at his home in Lamar at the age of 58.Duane was preceded in death by his parents.He is survived by his wife – Marla Heishman of Lamar; four children & Lynelle (Bryan) Solensky of Denver; Jason (Amber) Heishman of Hokah, MN; John (Jamie) Heishman of Denver; and Justin (Ashley) Heishman also of Denver; by thirteen grandchildren; by one sister Linda (John) Needs of State Center, Iowa as well as a niece, a nephew, other relatives and a host of friends.Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project either directly or through the funeral home office.
