Howl was a retired minister in the Mountain Assembly Church of God, and retired journeyman electrician at General Dynamics in Lima, as well as a retired farmer. He enjoyed reading his Bible, attending church services, continuously helping people, and being with his family. He loved the Lord with all of his heart and his family was second only to his dedication to the Lord. Howl will be remembered by the countless lives he touched with relentless giving, kindness and unconditional Christian love. Howl dedicated a lifetime of service to the ministry of Jesus Christ.
Survivors include children: Doug H. Moody and Shirley (John) Cramer all of Springfield, TN and Terry (Luann) Moody of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren: Carla (Jim) Klingler, Robin (Jim) Roberts, Tyler A. Moody, Brent (Mandy) Eastman, and 11 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 4 siblings.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 25 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Tony Stratton officiating, Pastor Stratton is from the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ, entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
