On Wednesday evening Gertie, daughter of Fred Ahlborn, died at her father's home, 57 North Street, after a long illness of some affection of the heart. She was five and a half years old. During her sickness she bore the suffering and pain with a bravery rare in a child so young, and was always patient and cheerful. She was an amiable and lovable child, and had become very dear to the friends and family. The funeral will take place from the residence Thursday at 4 p.m., with interment at Hollenback Cemetery.
