MISHAWAKA - Wanda J. Colburn, 82, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Bell Tower Health and Rehabilitation Center, Mishawaka, following an illness. She was born in Clarksville, Arkansas on July 2, 1936 to Audie and Grace (Clayborn) Melson both of whom preceded her in death. She married Paul Junior Colburn on January 29, 1955. He preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, David (Darlene) Colburn of Plymouth, Indiana, Brian (Sharon) Colburn of South Bend, Indiana, Alan (Kathy Garling) Colburn of Mishawaka, Indiana, and Elliot (Kathy) Colburn of Mishawka, Indiana. She was preceded in death by a son, Carl Gene Colburn of South Bend. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jennifer Colburn of New Carlisle, Nicole (Russell) Brancheau of Michigan, Justin (Alanna) Colburn of Wadsworth, Illinois, Matthew (Rachel) Colburn of Indianapolis, and Samantha Colburn of South Bend. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Scott Colburn of Plymouth, Indiana. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and a sister, Georgia (Paul Ray) Hubbard of Florida; and was preceded in death by three brothers, Curtis (Josephine) Melson of Wyoming, Don (Dorothy) Melson of Colorado, and Ron (Carole) Melson of Florida; and a sister, Barbara Carter of Arkansas. A memorial visitation will be from 2-4pm on July 28, 2018 at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, Indiana. Burial will follow at a later date at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
