Dr. Clyde W. Baker
FOUNTAIN, Minn. (Special) - Dr. Clyde W. Baker, DVM, 75, a former resident of Fountain, died Wednesday at Fayette, Iowa, where he had lived since 1951. He had lived in Fountain from 1925 until moving to Fayette.
Born in Melvin, Ill., he was a 1914 graduate of the Chicago Veterinary College.
Survivors are: His wife, the former Melvina Page, Fayette; three sons, Burton, Rochester; Lowell, Pompano Beach, Fla., and Dr. D.C. Baker, Sidney, Mont.; two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Dorothy) Hervey, Fayette, Iowa, and Mrs. R. J. (Lois) Ward, Sandusky, Ohio, and several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Fountain Methodist Church, the Rev. Glenn Quam officiating. Burial will be in Chatfield Cemetery.
Friends may call at R. C. Drury Funeral Home after today and at the church Saturday after 1 p.m.
Pallbearers, all grandsons, are Clyde, Mark, Lee, and Bruce Baker, Craig Ward and Douglas Hervey.
