"Clyde Emerson Cessna, 88, Fowler, Ohio, died at his home on June 15, 1976. Born in Smithport, Pa., Jan. 29, 1888, he was the son of Milton and Martha Bowers Cessna.He was employed at Republic Steel for a number of years, retiring in 1956. He was a a farmer in the Fowler are where he had lived since 1926.Mr Cessna was an accomplished musician and played with a number of bands in the Pennsylvania and Ohio area. He is survived by his widow, Adda Crawford Cessna, to whom he was married for 68 years; two sons, Ralph of Cortand and William of Howland; two daughters, Mrs R G (Marie) Graham, Fowler, and Mrs Michael (Lilly Mae) Kerns, Virginia Beach, Va; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur, Plumville, and Wayne, Punxsutawney and one sister Mrs Lila June Scott, Youngstown. He was preceeded in death by a daughter, five brothers and three sisters. Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Shaffer-Winans-Love Funeral Home in Cortland, Ohio.Interment will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Vienna, Ohio. "
