GANG, Ida (Bernath) Departed peacefully and with dignity and grace on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at the tender age of ninety-six. Loving and dedicated mother of Elizabeth (Bill) and Nick (Frances), cherished "Nanny" of Bill Jr (Jo-Anna), Kathy (Guy) and Ken (Pauline), great-grandmother of Matt, Samantha, Amy, Eric and Daniel. Ida is survived by her brother Mike (Anne) of Ottawa, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. She will always be remembered and held dear in the hearts of all her relatives and her many, many friends, both here and out-of-town. Resting at Armstrong-Rideau Funeral Home, 1640 Cote-Vertu Boulevard, St-Laurent, Phone: 514-331-1104, Email: [email protected] on Friday, February 20, 2009 starting from 12:30 p.m. The funeral service will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 875 Marcel Laurin Boulevard, St-Laurent on the same day at 2 p.m., thence to the Notre-Dame des Neiges cemetery for the cremation. The interment will be held privately at a later date. Special thanks to th entire staff of 10 Medical at the Royal Victoria Hospital and the very caring and dedicated staff at the Centre d'herbergement Henri-Bradet. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Royal Victoria Hospital, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the charity of your choice. Nanny will be greatly missed and remain forever in our hearts.
