Funeral services for Harold Dean, 77, of Palestine will be at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Smith Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park under the direction of Bailey & Foster.

After a long battle with cancer Harold went home. He was born to Ned Loyd Dean and Mary Langston Dean.

He was retired from the Balloon Base. He lived a wonderful life doing the things he and Linda enjoyed doing, from motorcycle riding, CB club to their latest passion..RVing. He met many wonderful people and made many friends. He loved making people laugh and spending time with family, friends, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Harold never met a stranger, lived his life to the fullest and will sorely be missed.

Mr. Dean was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Andrew and Meadow Langston and Robert and Willie Ruth Dean; son, Mickey Dean and sister, Dorothy Graves.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda K. Dean; daughter, Vickie Dean, daughter-in-law, Angie Dean-Ellis; sisters, Martha Reed (Perry), Laveounia Branson (Jerry), brothers-in-law Ben Graves, Virgil Stumbo (Marsha Clare); grandson Jess Huddleston(Cassie); great grandchildren, Lyla Beth Huddleston, Jessa Cate Huddleston and Jack Newton Huddleston.
