Ruth Esther Chapman (Wertz) 78 went home to be with her Lord Tuesday April 30. Ruth lived most of her life in an Absecon Highlands home built by her Dad. She was a Pleasantville HS grad '41. Ruth loved her God family & friends. She loved church game shows bingo cards bowling & gospel/ country music. All who knew her said she was the best cook and baker ever. She went to Beacon Free Church Galloway since its inception until moving to GA in 1992. She is survived by 3 sons Joseph 57 of Paulsboro NJ; Elwood 55 of Flintstone GA & Richard 49 of Dekalb IL & two daughters Ruthann Alessi 51 of Valparaiso IN & Susan Gale 46 of Ringgold GA; 21 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. Her family & friends will deeply miss her but rejoice in her homegoing to heaven where she joins her beloved husband Elwood son John & grandson George. Memorial Services are at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home New Rd. & Zion Rd. Northfield. Visitation 7pm Sun 5/5. Services 10am Mon 5/6.
