Cass Pioneer Anita, Ia., Dec 22 (Special) Funeral services for George B. Marsh, 71, pioneer of Cass county, who died Saturday at the home of his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. John McDermott of Bridgewater, were held at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Bridgewater Methodist Episcopal church. Burial was in the Bowen cemetery in Audubon county. Mr. Marsh was stricken with a paralytic stroke early Friday and remained in semiconscious condition until his death Saturday afternoon. He was the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Marsh, early settlers of this county. He was born on August 6, 1860, at Fort Collins, Colorado. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. McDermott, at whose home he died, and Mrs. U.S. Walker of Anita.
