He was employed as a miller at the Old Charles Town Grain and Feed Co., retiring in 1960. Following retirement he went back to work part-time at Peoples Supply (Old Charles Town Grain and Feed Co.) doing specialty jobs until 1970. He was also a beekeeper. He was a member of Charles Town Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of the Jackson Post American Legion.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Edna) Hastings, Hasgerstown; Mrs. Eugene (Nadine) Keatle, Leitersburg; and Mrs. John (Patricia) Willingham, Charles Town; three sons, Hubert E. Robinson, Kearneysville; and Walter M. Robinson and Robert P. Robinson, both of Charles Town; 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the Charles Town Presbyterian Church. Burial in St. Paul's Cemetery, Clear Spring, Md.
