Melvin Klotz, 92, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Friday July 27, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Helen E. (McCandless) Klotz with whom he shared over 69 years of loving marriage. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Miller) Klotz. Melvin worked for the Bethlehem Steel as a crane operator for most of his life until retiring. He was a member of Light in Christ Church, Bethlehem. Melvin played on the dart baseball church team for 60 years. He enjoyed deer hunting and spending time with his family.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Helen, he will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Nancy White of Bethlehem; son James L. Klotz of Bethlehem; granddaughters Connie Druckenmiller and her husband Michael and Cindy Peck and her husband Jason; and his 5 loving great grandchildren Austin, Evan and Owen Druckenmiller and Hannah and Kennan Peck. Melvin was preceded in death by his daughter Lorraine Overbeck.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday August 4, 2018 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 A.M. until time of service. Burial will take place at Nisky Hill Cemetery.
