Obituary of June Chew
June Jordan Chew (nee Almond), age 71, of Marlton, NJ, passed away on Monday July 23, 2018 at Aspen Hills Healthcare in Pemberton. Wife of the late Frederick Jordan and the late Richard Chew. Step-mother of Todd, Scott, and Derek Jordan. Loving sister of Jacquelyn (Frank) Almond Fieni, Thomas (Robin) Almond, George Almond, the late Joyce Almond, and the late Paul Almond

June was born in Camden, NJ and previously resided in Vincentown, NJ, before moving to Marlton, NJ. She was a graduate of Cherry Hill High School West and Trenton State College. June went on to work as a school teacher in New Jersey and Puerto Rico.

It was at the teenage age of 13 with the passing of her father and her mother having to work, June took the helm. June cared for, loved and help raised her siblings to help her mother. She was remarkable in this pursuit and will always be remembered and loved for her great accomplishments and love she fostered. At age 17, she was off to college, being missed by all. June also loved God and throughout her life she reflected God’s love to others passing her loyal traits. June was also the sweetest person we knew.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 1, 2018 from 9:00 to 10:00 am at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 61 E. Route 70, Marlton, NJ 08053. A memorial service will begin at 10:00 in the church. Interment of cremated remains will follow the service at Park View Cemetery at Historic Medford Village (formerly Odd Fellows Cemetery), Medford, NJ.
