Clayton C. Boyer, 81, of 75 North Main Street, New Egypt, died Sunday, March 23; at the Burlington County Memorial Hospital.
Born in Brownstown, Pa., he resided here for the past 41 years. He owned and operated the Boyer Sales Stables in New Egypt for the past 30 years. He was formerly a farmer in Columbus, N.J.
He belonged to the New Egypt Methodist Church and was a charter member of the New Egypt Lions Club.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Fischer of New Egypt and Mrs. Mabel Golinsky of Trenton; one son, John of New Egypt; four brothers, William C. of Philadelphia, Daniel C. of Lancaster, Pa., Elam C. of Topton, Pa. and Conrad C. of Drexel Hill, Pa.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held Wednesday. The Rev. George Howe of the New Egypt United Methodist Church officiated.
Interment was in Jacobstown Cemetery.
