Barbara Ann Morrow, 68, of 100 Edgewood Drive, Marietta, died at 6:28 p.m. Monday (Aug. 18, 2003) at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 2, 1935, in Marietta to James and Mary Casto Alexander. She graduated from Marietta High School in 1953. She was a State of Ohio claims representative for the Bureau of Employment Services. She was a member of Pinehurst Christian Church; Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 5108, Ladies Auxiliary; and Ohio Child Conservation League.

She is survived by her husband, Marion Morrow, whom she married on Sept. 4, 1953, in Marietta; four sons, Daniel Morrow and his wife, Cheryl, of The Colony, Texas, Ronald Morrow and his wife, Pamela, of Marietta, Todd Morrow and his wife, Melinda, of Marietta and Kevin Morrow and his wife, Rebecca, of Joplin, Mo.; four grandchildren, Justin and Kayla Morrow of The Colony and Morgan and Cody Morrow of Marietta; three stepgrandchildren, David, Kylee and Leslie Curry of the Beverly/Waterford areas; and one great-grandson, Noah Curry of Marietta.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Judy Kiggans.

Services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Hadley Funeral Home, Reno Chapel, with Dennis Frary officiating. Burial is in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary services are at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Strecker Cancer Center, 400 Matthew St., Marietta, Ohio 45750.

Interment will be in the Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Mrs. Alexander died at 9:50 p.m. Friday (Dec. 21, 1990) in Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 5, 1917, in Marietta to John E. and Renna Molze Casto. She had been employed for several years at Memorial as a licensed practical nurse. She was married to James Alexander Aug. 28, 1934. He died Jan. 10, 1984.

Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Morrow of Marietta and Judy Kiggans of Lowell; five brothers, Ronald, Paul, John, Russell and Ed Casto, all of Marietta; two sisters, Jean Britton of Marietta and Gladys Sheppard of Beverly; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were six brothers, Robert, Richard, Bernard, Cleo, Donald and Ernest Casto.
