Sara Jane (Sally) Archer, 85, of Dogwood, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Autumn Woods Health Campus in New Albany.
Born Oct. 18, 1927, in Clinton, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Mary Davis Herman.
She was an owner of Colonial Lanes in Corydon and a member of the Catholic faith.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Archer; a brother, William Herman; and a sister, Marilyn Beaucar.
Survivors include a son, Stephen Archer of Dogwood; a daughter, Dee Ann Daugherty of Louisville; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, March 11, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, March 12, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, March 12, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Smith Campground Cemetery near Dogwood.
Officiant: Father Rob Hankee.
Pallbearers: Eric, Shammah and Conner Daugherty, John Wagner, Andre Johnson and James Hall.
