George Rivenburg, 74, of 3145 Stewart Rd, Box 41, Vestal, died at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Monday, August 28, 1995, after a brief illness.
Predeceased by his brother Winfield Rivenburg and a sister Bernice Hughes; survived by his wife Mary Rivenburg, Vestal; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Sharon and Herbert Mitchell, Solvay, NY, Debora Rivenburn, Binghamton, Kim and Rev. Greg Marion, Owego, Teri and Jeff Uhrimac, Endicott; four step-children, Kenneth Gillette, King Ferry, N.Y., Donald and Linda Gillette, Rochester, Nancy Berg, Vestal; Isabelle Gillette, Endicott; 12 grandchildren; one great grandson; one sister-in-law, Phyllis Schneider, Apalachin; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bruce and Patricia Gardiner, St. Louis, Mo; a special niece and nephew, Kathy and Marty Fulton, Hillcrest, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was a veteran of WW II, serving in the U.S. Army. A member of V.F.W. Post 2332, Johnson City.
At George's request, there will be no funeral service. Expressions of sympathy in George's memory may be made to the Hospice Program in care of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, 169 Riverside Dr., Binghamton, N.Y. 13905. Arrangements are by the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main St.., Endicott.
