Robert Doiron, 90, of Résidence Beau Séjour, Shediac, formerly of Cap-Pelé passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital, Moncton.
Born January 28, 1914 in Cap-Pelé, he was the son of the late Adolphe, and Amanda (Doiron) Doiron.
He was a retired fisherman, and a past employee with Callaghan Construction.
He is survived by his wife, Anna-May (Landry) Doiron, a daughter Lota LeBlanc (Edgar) of Cap-Pelé; three sons: Arsène (Elsie), Roland (Francine), and Normand all of Cap-Pelé; three sisters: Diana Doiron of Cocagne, Thérèse Landry (Ernest), and Jeannine Saulnier (Aquila) all of Cap-Pelé, a brother Philippe of Cap-Pelé, six grandchildren: Rhéal, Irma, Benoit, Luc, Guy, Chris; three great-grandchildren Rémi, Julien, and Stéphanie.
He was predeceased by his three sisters: Alice, Hermance, Imelda, a brother Néri and two infants: Irma, and Azor.
Remains resting at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Street, Cap-Pelé (577-3297). Visiting hours Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:55). The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2004 at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila R.C. Church, Cap-Pelé. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

At the request of the family, memorial donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Association or Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation (Oncology) would be appreciated.
