Jerry Wayne Newland was born on March 3, 1947 to James Charlie Newland and Daisy Bell (Ayers) Newland-Holland in Angelina County, Texas. He passed from this life at the Lindsay Nursing Home on July 12, 2018 at the age of 71.
He is survived by two brothers: J.B. Newland of Malakoff, Texas and Hubert Newland of Tyler, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents: James Newland and Daisy Newland-Holland, his wife: Rosa Newland, his sisters: Gladys (Newland) McKnight, Nadine (Newland) Mettlen, his brothers: James Newland, Charles Newland, Marshall Newland, Donald Newland, and Jeffrey Newland.
His memory will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.
