Olin “Bud” Delano Cooper, 79, of 237 Brittany Road, Gaffney, S.C. passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at his home.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Lewis Pate Cooper and Annie Elizabeth White Cooper.

He retired from construction, was a U. S. Air Force veteran, and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are his companion, Dianne McCullough of the home; step-sons, Brad McCullough and Travis McCullough and wife, Amanda, both of Gaffney; a step-daughter, Kim Sanders (Barry Coriell) of Gaffney; a brother, David Cooper and wife, Jimmie of Cowpens, S.C.; a sister, Colleen Cooper of Gaffney; grandchildren, Kayce Parris, Brooke Gibson (Tyler), Baylee McCullough, Brantlee McCullough and Johnny McCullough; an expected great-grandchild, Layton Cooper Gibson.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis Dean Cooper and Lamar (L. P.) Cooper and three sisters, Cleo Cooper Dietz, Edith Goodspeed and Eleane Rice.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. Entombment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will be at the residence.
