Robert “Bob” A. Arnold, 74, of Beloit, WI, died Friday, September 7, 2012 in his home. He was born September 3, 1938 in Plymouth Township, WI, the son of Chester and Jessie (Babcock) Arnold. Robert was employed by Govert Brothers Well Drilling and the Rock County Highway Department, retiring in 2000. He attended Luther Valley Lutheran Church. Robert enjoyed woodworking, doing yard work around his house, turkey and deer hunting. He loved reading western books. Survivors include his wife of 55 years; three children; four grandchildren; brother; sister; eight sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Richard; nephew; eight brothers-in-law. Funeral services September 11, 2012 in Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, Beloit, WI. Burial in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens, South Beloit, IL.
