Annie Biddlecome died Tuesday, May 6, 1997, at Redding Medical Center.

Born Feb. 3, 1910, in Hamilton, Texas, she moved to Shasta County in 1948 from Mississippi.

She was a restaurant owner, a member of the former Nazarene Church in Shasta Lake, the Disabled Veterans, a past member of the Redding Moose Lodge 1006 and a cook for the Redding Elks.

Survivors include daughter Jackie McDowell of Shasta Lake; sister Floy Harris of Huttig, Ark.; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
