Obituary
Patricia "Patty" Mohn Nickels passed peacefully at Pathways Hospice Care Center at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Colorado on July 11th 2018. She was a resident of Good Samaritan in Loveland. She was born in Larned Kansas on August 26th 1930 to Warren and Eloise Phillips. Patty was a resident of Loveland since 1955.
Mom enjoyed many things. She loved watching sports of all kinds especially the Broncos and enjoyed playing women's fast pitch softball in her younger years. She was a former City of Loveland Women's Golf champion. Mom loved cooking for many family members and friends. She was an excellent cook. Patricia was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary for 39 years. She loved going up to Rocky Mountain Natl park for the scenery and wildlife.
Patricia is survived by son Dan Mohn (Diane) of Loveland; daughter Peggy Murphy (Steve) of Gig Harbor Wa; son Dennis Mohn (Susan) of Tijeras NM;
seven grandchildren Philip (Catrina) Murphy, Matt (Marcie) Mohn, Trevor Sheets, Sarah (Shane) Smith, Annabelle Bowman Mohn, Maranda (Jeremy) Coston, Chelsey Burdick and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters Barbara Ellis, Sarah Lloyd and Jo Waldron and one brother Wes Phillips along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dean and son David Mohn and close long time friend Kate Stewart.
Patricia will be deeply missed by her family and her many friends.
Memorial services will be held August 7, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Spiritual Life Center at Loveland Good Samaritan Village. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributing to Pathways Hospice Care Center, 305 Carpenter Road, Fort Collins, CO 80528
