Son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Abee, died of diphtheria.

Batesville Daily Guard, 18 Feb 1915

On the 14th inst. the Death Angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Abee and called from them their bright little Willie, aged one year and one week. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Guy Jenkins at the general Baptist church at Mt. Zion.nHis words were consoling. The child seemed to, realize the end was near, as he was intelligent beyond his age. This darling little treasure passed away from earth to heaven, his death being due to the dreaded disease diptheria. It was touching to see the young mother in her grief taking the last look at her darling baby, bidding it farewell until Jesus calls to come up

higher in the resurrection, to live together forever. I will say to this mother and father, live in close fellowship with God, for like as the dew that descended upon the mountains, for there the Lord commanded the blessings, even life forever. I trust it will ever be your desire to walk and and talk with God. Your precious babe is at rest in the Savior's loving embrace, a sweet bud of Paradise, to bloom an immortal flower. The remains were laid to rest in Mt. Zion cemetery.

In deep sympathy, your loving

Aunt White.
