From The Eveleth News (published 1/6/1921):

"John A Boyle, 33, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Boyle of Duluth, died at the home of his parents Sunday, Jan. 2nd, 1921, at six o'clock p.m. Besides his parents he is survived by his sisters, Cecil, Mary, Nora and Irene of Duluth, and his brothers, James P. Boyle of Douglas, Arizona, P. J. Boyle of this city, E. L. Boyle of Virginia, M. H. Boyle of Minneapolis, C. L. Boyle of Cleveland and J. F. Boyle of New York City.


Some years ago Mr. Boyle was engaged in the real estate business in Duluth, but recently he has been connected with the bonding departments of the Bankers' Trust Company and the J. A. Hogle and Company at Salt Lake City, Utah.


The funeral was held from the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Duluth, Wednesday morning."
