Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Mark McDuffie and Mary Norris Bryan. He was a furniture upholsterer and a was a US Navy veteran of World War II. He was past president of the Paralyzed Veterans of America and was presently serving as chairman of the board of directors. He attended Augusta Hwy. Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Harold Bryan, Jr. of Columbia and Mark Bryan of the home; a sister, Gertrude Bryan Larson of Denver CO; and a grandson. Harley Funeral Home.
