Obituary
Mary Ann Lebus Hubble
Mary Ann Hubble, daughter of Andrew and Margaret Lebus, was born in Ohio, December 7, 1846, and departed this life February 5, 1929, age 82 years, 1 mouth and 28 days.

She was united in marriage to James S. Hubble, October 5, 1864. Eight children were born to this union, four daughters and four sons, five preceding her in death. Those left to mourn her loss are Elizabeth McConnell, Fairfield, Illinois; Margarete Ulm and Andrew Hubble, of Clay City, Illinois; also surviving are seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She united with the Zip Baptist church, March, 1868, under the ministry of Elder Lewis Behymer, was baptized by him and remained a faithful member until her death.

She was very much devoted to her church and spent much of her time reading the Bible.

She had been a sufferer of heart trouble for several years, and was stricken with apoplexy January 3, 1929. All was done that medical aid and loving hands could do, but we could not stay the hands of higher power, who said, "Servant of God well done." She often expressed herself as being ready to go to her heavenly home to be with her companion and loved ones.

No one knows how much we'll miss you,
No one knows the bitter pain,
We will suffer since we lost you,
Life will never be the same,
In our heart your memory lingers,
Sweetly tender, fond and true,
There will not be a day, dear mother,
That we do not think of you.
