Funeral services for Bertha Daigle Higginbotham, 80, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, in Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Dan Landry will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation is 2-10 p.m. Wednesday, with a Scripture service at 7:30 p.m.; and from 8 a.m Thursday.
Mrs. Higginbotham died at 8:20 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13,1999, in a local hospital.
A native of Church Point, she was a Lake Charles resident for most of her life. She was a member of St Margaret Catholic Church. Survivors include one son, Jackie Higginbotham of Lake Charles; two sisters, Ruby Latiolais of Lake Charles and Ivy Tredell of Lewisburg; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
