May 22, 1951 - August 15, 2018 Betty Louise Chapman, age 67, passed away peacefully at her home in Raccoon, KY on Wednesday August 15, 2018 surrounded by her friends and family.
She was born to the late James Burness Ramey and Brooksie Ellen (McKinnney) Ramey on May 22, 1951 at their home in Mouthcard, KY.
She married and spent 51 years as a loving wife, mother and grandmother until her the time of her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Clifford Joe Ramey, Ricky Ramey and Carry Wayne Ramey.
She is survived by her husband Lorenza Tilden Chapman of Raccoon, Ky; three children Beverly Carol Testerman and her husband Tommy of Honaker, VA, Melissa Ellen Slone and her husband Bobby of Cowpen, KY and James Tilden Chapman and his wife Jowanda of Raccoon, KY; five sisters Rita Ann Hampton, Jeannie Belle Vice, Emma Lea Price and her Husband Jackie, Nancy Carol Turner and her husband Michael and Barbara Kay Barker and her husband James; nine grandchildren Brenda Louise Dye, Keli Louise Jude, Curtis Dean Gillespie, Isabella Hope Wallen, Kayla Dawn Pinson, Megan Kendra Hall, Justin Keith Pinson, Isaac Jordan Chapman and Cameron James Slone; and eight great grandchildren Ethan Wayne Dye, Kayden Keith Blair, Jazlynn Kiera Jude, Elijah Kenneth Dewayne Hall, Isabella Grace Gillespie, Jackson Wayne Dye, Braxton Isaiah Hall and Bryson Kade Gillespie.
Betty Louise Chapman will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. Burial in the Annie E. Young Cemetery in Shelbiana, KY.
