MATTIE CARRIE JOHNSON, 74, of 1030 Ethel, died of congestive heart failure Monday at Saint Francis Hospital. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Park. R.S. Lewis & Sons Funeral Home has charge. She was a Baptist. Mrs. Johnson, the widow of William Henry Johnson, leaves three daughters, Regina Yarbrough, Karen Hill and Rosalind Gill, all of Memphis; three sons, Lawrence Staves and Harold Johnson, both of Memphis, and William Johnson Jr. of Winlock, Wash.; two sisters, Hattie Alexander and Ernestine Brooks, both of Memphis, 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
