Funeral services for Mr. Archie Glenn Anderson, age 72, of Lindale, Texas are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale. Interment will follow in the Damascus Cemetery with services under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home. Archie died Friday, August 17, 2018 at his residence in Lindale. He was born February 3, 1946 in Vidor, Texas to the late Paul and Fannie (Clayton) Anderson. Archie served in the United States Army and the Army National Guard and was a member of the American Legion Post #848 in Lindale, Texas. He had worked as a truck driver for Darling International and for Sears and was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Archie is survived by his brother, Larry Eugene Anderson of Van, Texas and by several nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be members of the American Legion Post #848 in Lindale.
