BLACKWELL, THOMAS E. SR., 77, of Louisville, died Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at Colonial Manor Nursing Facility in Bowling Green, KY. He was a retired Foreman for B. F. Goodrich Co., retired member of Sun Valley Seniors, and a member of Evangel World Prayer Center. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Virginia Desse Blackwell. Survivors include a daughter, Debby J. Dumitru; three sons, Thomas E. Blackwell Jr. (Stella), Stephen J. Blackwell and Rick Blackwell (Sherry); two brothers, Andrew and Pete Blackwell; a sister, Taffy Farmer; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Thomas' funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Keenan's Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Highway (at Rockford Lane), with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Sunday and after 9 a.m. on Monday. Memorial gifts may be directed to the Parkinson Support Center, 4912 U. S. Highway 42 Suite 104, Louisville, KY 40222.
