Edward Nevin Dolan March 30, 1943 August 17, 2018 Edward Nevin Dolan, 75, of Mill Hall, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018, at his home. Born March 30, 1943, he was the son of the late Nevin Guy Dolan and Lillian Gertrude Boone Dolan Dreese. Ed was a graduate of the Milton Hershey School. He proudly served in the United States Navy as a Seabee during the Vietnam War. In 1971, he married the former Alice Kramer who survives. Ed was employed at Bobbie Brooks and then Miller's Appliances before serving as an electrician with Hanna Electric until his retirement. He was an avid gardener, having both a wonderful garden and orchard. Ed enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting. In addition to his wife, Alice Dolan, of Mill Hall, he is survived by three children: Edward Nevin Guy (Cherie) Dolan, of Mill Hall, Eugene Wilson (Andrea) Dolan, of Texas and Teri Michelle (Patrick) Dolan-Ward, of Ramsey; a sister, Judy Marie (John) Heckman, of Lock Haven; eight grandchildren: Ashley (Art) Foltz, Kyle Dolan, Cody Dolan, Kiera Dolan, Reagan Dolan, Gannon (Kaitlyn) Chapman, Michelle Ward and Michael Ward; three great grandchildren: Hudson and Beckett Foltz and Isaac Chapman. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Shirley Ann and Charles Harpster. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with Rev. Alan Eckenroad officiating. Burial will follow at Jacksonville Cemetery.
