James William Adams, 65, of 216 Cherry St., Bluefield, died Saturday, December 15, 1984 at the residence after a long illness.

Born 15 December 1919 in McDowell County, he was a former waiter and cook at Cricket Inn, Pocahontas, Va.

Survivors: son, John Adams of Baltimore, Md.; brother, Walter Adams of New Richmond, Va.; half brothers, Fred Moore of Florida, Thomas Moore of Ohio; half sister, Lorinia Connor of Princeton; three grandchildren.

Graveside rights will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Larry Foster officiating.

Pallbearers: John Woody, Major Shupe, Wayne Bell, Oran Bell, James Woody.
Friends may call at Roselawn Monte Vista Funeral Home today from 5-9 p.m.
Mercer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
