Mrs. Lucille C. Uncapher, 75, died at 11:55 last night at her residence on the Rayl-Uncapher Pk. after being ill only 12 hours.

Mrs. Uncapher, whose husband, William H. Uncapher, preceded her in death, Oct. 29, 1948, was born in Green Camp Township on April 25, 1882, the daughter of the late William A. Carey of near New Bloomington and Mary Cooper Carey of near Green Camp.

The deceased was a member of Mount Olive Methodist Church and the Mount Olive grange, and a charter member of the Never Fail Club. She is survived by a son, Robert C. Uncapher, of near Marion; two granddaughters, Mrs. Allan Dreyer and Mrs. Robert A. Smith, both of near Marion; and three great grandchildren.

The Rev. Jerry Wortham will conduct funeral services in the Schaffner-Denzer Funeral Home Monday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
