Following the untimely death of Henry Maguire, at the end of 1899, the widowed Frances Maguire married Thomas F Erdman, of Baltimore in late March of 1900. The 1900 US Census indicates Frances and most of her children were enumerated in the Erdman household, under the surname, Erdman. A January 18, 1903 Edition of the Baltimore Sun newspaper reports how daughter Mamie Maguire, eloped to Washington DC, to marry Albert Cooper. Mamie's mother was mentioned in the article as being Mrs. Thomas Erdman.
In June of 1909, Frances passed. She is buried in the same Cemetery as her daughter, Charlotte Lee "Lottie" Maguire Coard.
After Frances' death, her husband, Thomas, remarried.
