"Stanley Boucher of Huallen Passes Away
Huallen, Sept. 14 - On Sunday, September 5, in the Grande Prairie Municipal Hospital, Mr. Stanley Boucher of Huallen passed away in his 57th year.
Born on the island of Guernsey, he came to Manitoba at the age of nineteen. Later he homesteaded in Saskatchewan, coming to Alberta about thirteen years ago. He married Miss Isabel Rogers of Brandon in 1922.
He was noted throughout the Grande Prairie district as a commercial grower of high-class strawberries.
Mr. Boucher will be greatly missed by his many friends and neighbours, all of whom recognized in him a man of high integrity.
Funeral services, conducted by Mr. Andy Scott and companion, were held in the Huallen Hall and interment was made in the Lower Beaver Lodge cemetery.
Mr. Boucher leaves, besides his wife and son, a sister in British Columbia to mourn his loss."
