Bobby Junior Boothe, 76, of Coeburn, VA, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at his residence in Coeburn, Virginia. He was born April 12, 1942 in Eckman, McDowell County, West Virginia. He was the son of the late Linza Boothe and Martha Lucinda Salyers Boothe. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Alice Breeding Boothe; daughter, Mary Alice Boothe; son, Michael Steven Nelson Boothe, a sister, Margaret Catherine Boothe and a brother, Thomas "Tom" Lee Boothe, Sr. He was a former employee of Clinchfield Coal Company.
Survivors include his wife, Shelby Jean Hamilton Edwards Boothe; David (Mary) Edwards, Coeburn, Dennis (Colleen) Edwards, Stuartstown, PA and Joseph (Robin) Edwards, Lexington, NC; granddaughter, Amanda Norman, Stuartstown, PA; grandsons, David Edwards, Jr. Powell, TN; Travis Edwards, Jasper, VA and Joshua Edwards, Stuartstown; brothers: Roy Winfield (Shirley) Boothe, Bristol, VA, Charlie Billy (Janice) Boothe, Johnson City, TN and Henry Donald (Pam) Boothe, Bristol, VA; sisters, Trula Belle (Clifford) Duckett and Iva Lee Alma (Bob) Pratt Littreal, both of Bristol, VA; 4 great grandchildren, 3 great granddaughters, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Bobby Junior Boothe will be held on Wednesday August 22, 2018 7:00 PM at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. R. J. Rose Rev. Ronald Lee Hogsed officiating. Burial will be Thursday August 23, 2018 at Hamilton Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday after 5:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave., Coeburn, VA.
