A graduate of Oulton’s Business College, Nancy was a retired Office Clerk with the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. and was formerly employed with Laidlaw Lumber in Ontario. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, going to yard sales, collecting Royal Doulton figurines and spending time with her family and friends.
Nancy will be sadly missed by her husband of 51 years, Hinson Smith; loving children, Mark Smith of Winnipeg, MB, Michael Smith (Rosalinde) of Saint John and Rhonda Smith (Tony Johnston) of Sussex; precious grandchildren, Krista, Melissa, Tanner and Shaylee; cherished great grandchildren, Faron, Damien, Chloe and Alexis; one brother, Kenneth Woodard; and several extended family members.
A Celebration of Life Service for Nancy will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 11:00 am, with Pastor Scott Ryder officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Albert Mines Cemetery at a later date. In Nancy’s memory, donations to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
