Bettie Lou Tate, 75, of Cassville, died December 18 at her home.

Mrs. Tate was born April 2, 1931, in Osha, Kansas, the daughter of Walter and Mary Jane Angeline Allen Deeds. She attended McGuire School in Viola and moved to Cassville in 1966.

She married Floyd Tate on December 13, 1953, and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Rider of Cassville and Stevie Tate of Coleman, Texas; two daughters, Kay Walker of Cassville and Sharon Tate of Covington, Tennessee; two sisters, LuEtta Allen of Wichita, Kansas, and Zanada Bowman of Odessa, Texas; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, December 21, at Viney Creek Cemetery in Golden with Larry Henbest, pastor, officiating under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, December 20, at the funeral home.
