ESSIE MAE HALLIBURTON, 66, of 3860 Hawkins Mill, retired pastry cook for Memphis Board of Education, died Tuesday at Methodist Hospital North. Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in the church cemetery. Family Mortuary has charge. She was a member of Court of Calanthies 130, and the Hundred Voices Choir. Mrs. Halliburton, the wife of J. B. Halliburton, also leaves five stepdaughters, Dorothy Jean Miles of Millington, Willie Bell Morgan of Woodstock, and Rosie Mary Lewis, Susanne Peebles and Geraldine Halliburton, all of Memphis; four stepsons, Robert Halliburton of Millington, and Nathaniel Halliburton, Garvan Halliburton Jr. and Burnise Halliburton, all of Memphis; her mother, Abbie Nelson, and a sister, Elnora Johnson, both of Memphis, and several stepgrandchildren.
