Christopher Columbus Hatter was born Dec.-1851 In Kentucky and died about Dec.-1924 in Casey County, Kentucky. He is the son to William H. Hatter and Mary A. (Polly) Durham. He first married Elizabeth F. Tilford on 16-Oct.-1870 in Casey County, Kentucky. After the death of his 1st wife he married Lucy Shelton Lucas on 25-Aug.-1892 in Casey County, Kentucky. He had 7 children with Lucy and they are as followed: William (Bill) Hatter, Marjorie (Jorie) Hatter, Myrtle D. Hatter, Jack Otis Floyd Hatter, Bessie Hatter, Charlie T. Hatter and Jewell Hatter. Its known to me by family members that Christopher is buried at Middleburg Cemetery in the Yosemite area of Casey County. I have a picture of where Charlie Hatter and his uncle John Lucas was standing next to a grave that matches one in the back row in the cemetery. Its been told for years he is buried in a unmarked grave next to this grave in the picture.
