John W. Fitzkee: Married 46 years
WRIGHTSVILLE — John W. Fitzkee, 65, of 300 Walnut St., died Tuesday morning at his home. He was the husband of June E. (Curry) was the husband of June E. (Curry) Fitzkee. The couple observed their 46th wedding anniversary on Feb. 20.
The service will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Etzweiler Funeral Home Inc., 700 Hellam St. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Fitzkee was born at East Prospect, the son of the late Ralph and Estella (Smeltzer) Fitzkee.
He was an employee of Formit Steel Co., Red Lion. He was a member of National Rifle Association.
Mr. Fitzkee also is survived by two daughters, Diana E. Reichard, Craley, and Carol A. Miller, East Prospect; two sons, Dennis E. Fitzkee, Wrightsville, and Kieth Fitzkee, Felton; and 10 grandchildren.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Carl N. Rutherford, pastor of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Craley. 04-11-89.
